Job description: The Institute of Prostate Cancer Research at the University Hospital of Bonn, invites an application for a *PhD/Post Doctoral *position in bioinformatics (MSc / Dipl. / PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline). The primary focus of the research is the analysis of molecular factors and mechanisms in human prostate cancer using high-throughput technologies. The candidate will primarily work with state of-the-art next generation sequencing data (genome, exome, transcriptome). We offer an excellent multidisciplinary team-oriented research environment.
We are seeking a strongly motivated and highly qualified candidate with profound analytical, programming and theoretical skills. Experience in bioinformatics/biological information
processing, molecular biology and C++/JAVA/Perl/Python programming under LINUX would be advantageous. Fluent knowledge of English is mandatory.
