Job Description: A postdoctoral researcher position in lab-on-a-chip technologies is available in the ChemLabChip group headed by Jörg P. Kutter, Department of Micro- and Nano¬tech¬no¬logy, DTU Nanotech.
The duration of the position is two years. The project is focused on developing microfluidic devices with integrated optics for applications in medical diagnostics.
The ChemLabChip group at DTU Nanotech is a multidisciplinary group currently consisting of 10 postdocs and PhD students. The group is focusing on design, fabrication and application of microfluidic systems with integrated optics for applications in the life sciences.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a PhD degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and have extensive experience in working with lab-on-a-chip systems and microfluidics.
Additional knowledge about integrated optics is beneficial. You should furthermore be highly motivated, hard working and easy to work with, ambitious, and have a high scientific standard.
Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed with the relevant union.
