Scholarships Description: The MRC Centre for Transplantation at King’s College London wishes to appoint three Research Associates to join its recently established research group to be led by Professor Randolph Noelle at Guy’s Campus.
This research project is supported by KPA and Wellcome Trust grants. The post holders, who will be based within the MRC Centre for Transplantation, will be involved in the study of immunoregulatory mediators that govern transplant tolerance and immunity.
The department was awarded the only MRC Centre of Research in Transplantation in the UK and aims to translate basic discovery into new therapeutic, diagnostic and prognostic applications. The Centre has a rapidly expanding set of research projects and this is an opportunity for suitably qualified and motivated individuals to become an integral part of the establishment and running of this research.
Candidates should possess a science degree in Molecular, Cellular Biology and/or Immunology and a PhD in a relative field. Experience with immunology techniques will be taken into account.
